I love your heart

Tonight after giving Owen a bath, he threw his arms around me and squeezed me tight.

"I love you so much, Mom."

"What do you love about me, Owen?"

"I love your inside. I love your heart."

I love his heart, too. Owen your heart makes me smile.

Everything Belongs

As a mom of two lively boys, it seems as though time is speeding by at lightning pace. I'm realizing more and more that I need to be purposeful about my role as their mother. Parenting is such.hard.work. Exhausting and humbling. Yet the rewarding part comes as I encounter the Divine in the midst of it all, giving hope and joy in the midst of the chaos. While most of my days are ordinary and routine I want to use this blog as a way to raise my awareness of how God surprises us in it all. Big or small, significant or not, it is all held together by our loving Creator, for truly, everything belongs. Will you join me in the journey?
